We have officially squeezed every last drop out of summer. September is here. Cooler weather and the start of school. My yarn is slowly making it’s way out of hiding, and soups are coming together in my mind and soon to be my kitchen. The beginning of fall is typically a welcome repose. But this summer held such adventure and transformation for us as a family, I’m a little sad to let it go. We haven’t planned many adventures for the fall yet, but I’m sure there will be some. And just as we do with every season in New England, we will savor it while it’s here. So, goodbye summer… hello autumn, it’s nice to have you here once again.
I can’t believe it’s been a month since I’ve done a photo review of our time at home. This month has been busy! Mostly it’s been full of adventure in the beautiful autumn weather (rain and shine), and friends. We have been so fortunate to play every day, here’s a look at how… 🙂
At the nature playground
Breaking in a new carrier (toddler Tula)
We spent a few days hanging with this friend!
A yard full of leaves to rake into fun shapes!
Learning to roll on a hill!
Watching prayer flags blow in the wind
And rainy day walks
E has become a great kitchen helper
and a Sheriff on duty
Walks with mamas and littles.
Wow! There was so much. This selection of photos barely does the month justice.
Thank you to all the friends, family, and furries who have shared their time with us this month. This kind of autumn makes the coming winter seem doable. And thank to my intern Ryan, for capturing so many of these beautiful images. 🙂 Stay tuned, we will be getting back on track with weekly photo updates from our home. Happy fall!
